Consolidated revenue from operations rises about 10% to ₹4,336 crore, up from ₹3,941.9 crore a year ago. One report also notes total consolidated income increases to about ₹4,390.5 crore and total expenses rise to about ₹4,249.4 crore.
On business drivers, sources agree that biosimilars and generics contribute to growth. Business Line reports biosimilars revenue increases around 16% to about ₹2,855 crore, and generics revenue grows around 21% to about ₹760 crore. NDTV adds that EBITDA margin remains stable. Free Press Journal also states profit before tax rises to ₹127.6 crore and basic earnings per share improves to ₹0.87. It further mentions an exceptional expense of ₹13.5 crore related to termination benefits included in the results.
