Taylor Swift’s music is being removed from multiple TikTok videos posted by White House or Trump-affiliated accounts. Several outlets report that the audio has been taken down, leaving the posts silent or without the original soundtrack.
Among the tracks cited are “I Bet You Think About Me” and “August.” The accounts had used Swift’s songs alongside footage of President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, with captions referencing politics and, in one case, Swift. Rolling Stone and others describe the posts as antagonistic, while Variety and The Hill focus on the visible change after posting. NDTV and additional reporting say this is not the first time the campaign’s videos have lost Swift’s music; another Swift song reportedly had its audio removed earlier.
Some outlets attribute the removals to actions by the “copyright owner,” while others note that neither Swift’s representatives nor the Trump campaign publicly explains the cause. Times of India adds that the availability change may reflect copyright rules in the United States, and notes that the White House continues using a different Swift track without reported restriction.
