Poco announces that the Poco M8x 5G will launch in India later this month. The device is positioned as another model in the Poco M8-series alongside the Poco M8 5G and the Poco M8 Power 5G. As the launch date approaches, outlets report differing claims about key specifications. NDTV and one report highlight the handset as the first smartphone in India to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. Another outlet citing a Flipkart teaser says the chipset powering the phone has been indicated as Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, while a tipster elsewhere claims the device may use a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 instead. The same leak also points to a 6.9-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with expected pricing under ₹20,000.
