India’s Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, is set to lead what multiple reports describe as the largest-ever Indian business delegation to Japan, bringing more than 200 industry representatives.

According to the accounts, Goyal travels to Tokyo where he is scheduled to hold meetings with senior executives from major Japanese industrial conglomerates. The delegation includes participants from across sectors, aiming to strengthen business links and explore potential cooperation with Japanese firms.

While both sources agree on the delegation size and that Goyal meets top Japanese business leaders in Tokyo, they emphasize different aspects of the trip: one highlights the “largest-ever” scale and the overall composition of the delegation, while the other focuses on the meeting format with Japanese industrial groups.
