Mumbai police arrest actor and model Rohullah Mehdi, a co-star of Shahid Kapoor in the film “Deva,” in connection with an alleged drugs case. Multiple outlets report that the Kashimira Police Crime Branch conducted the operation and that Mehdi is named the main accused. Police also reportedly seized 28 grams of MD (worth about Rs 5.60 lakh), according to reports.
Authorities say the case investigation began after information about an alleged narcotics network that operates via social media platforms such as Snapchat and WhatsApp. Reported details include a trap operation using a decoy customer near Thakur Mall in Dahisar’s Check Naka area, where a person identified as Kasif was arrested and, during questioning, allegedly named Mehdi. Police then arrested Mehdi outside a studio in Malad while he was shooting.
