Personal belongings of the late French screen icon Brigitte Bardot sell for nearly €1 million at an auction in Paris on Monday. Millon said more than 280 items from her estate are sold for a total of €953,531 including fees, with every lot finding a buyer. The sale lasts almost nine hours at the Hôtel Drouot.
The auction features items ranging from clothing and accessories to personal objects such as dog collars, guitars, straw hats, tableware and furniture taken from her homes in Saint-Tropez and Paris. Across outlets, the number of lots is reported as 285, with strong public interest leading to large pre-auction crowds; one report says around 15,000 people visit the venue over six days to view the exhibits.
Outlets also note the proceeds are directed toward Bardot’s animal welfare foundation and her son, framing the sale as both a high-profile collectors’ event and a funding mechanism for her charitable legacy. Both reports attribute the final total and widespread bidding enthusiasm to Millon.
