Pope Francis’ journal entries, written before and during his time as pope, are set to be published this fall for the first time, according to multiple reports. The entries provide reflections from his years in and around the Vatican, including material from before his election to the papacy.
The outlets report that the publication will include diary entries kept across different periods leading up to and during his pontificate. While both accounts focus on the forthcoming release and the fact that the journals have not previously been published, they do not offer additional details in the provided excerpts about the publisher, exact release date, length, or specific themes beyond reflections on his Vatican years.
