Apple is reportedly preparing to launch a new smart home control hub called “HomeView.” According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the device is expected to ship around mid-November, roughly a month after Apple’s October 13 “Welcome home” event, where it was unveiled.
Multiple outlets describe HomeView as a Siri-focused command center for an Apple-powered home, pairing a display with an A18 chip. The hub is expected to be available in two physical forms: a countertop model with a metal speaker base and a wall-mounted model with a flat, square base. Gurman also says it is controlled mainly by voice, supports touch via the screen, and includes only a limited set of Apple apps.
A key point across the reports is that HomeView is not expected to include a dedicated App Store. Instead, it runs with built-in capabilities. The reports also differ slightly on timing details, with one outlet framing availability as before the end of 2026, but all tie the rollout to Gurman’s reporting and Apple’s upcoming smart home hardware cycle.
