Verizon confirms it will charge customers $10 per month to use Apple’s iPhone Handoff feature on compatible devices. The carrier links the feature to its iPhone Duo offering and specifies it will work with iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro models running iOS 27.

iPhone Handoff lets users use a single phone number across two iPhones, with the number active on only one device at a time. Verizon says support is “coming soon,” aligning with Apple’s earlier statement that Verizon would adopt the feature before the end of the year.

Outlets also note how other carriers price the feature: T-Mobile charges $5 per month, Deutsche Telekom in Germany charges €6.95 (and includes it in some plans), and EE in the U.K. offers it free on certain plans and £5 per month otherwise. AT&T has indicated it has no near-term plans to support iPhone Handoff.
