The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is investigating reports that a passenger began bleeding during an Abuja–Calabar flight, with multiple outlets linking the incident to cabin air-conditioning or ventilation problems.

Premium Times reports the regulator will probe claims that passengers spent about 50 minutes inside the aircraft without functioning air conditioning before the bleeding began. The Punch also says NCAA has started a probe, attributing the conditions on board to lack of air conditioning and, in another report, to excessive heat and poor ventilation. While the outlets differ in how they describe the onboard problem—air conditioning not working versus broader poor ventilation—they all frame the NCAA review as a response to the same passenger bleeding report and the alleged comfort or airflow failures before the incident.
