Bravo’s “Real Housewives” cast members are set to star in an Off-Broadway revival of Neil Simon’s farce “Rumors.” Variety, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter all report that eight “Real Housewives” stars will take part in the reimagined production.
The outlets agree on key performers and the show’s Off-Broadway setting, noting that the revival is staged at the Newman Mills Theater at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space and is scheduled to begin in January. Across the coverage, the cast is framed as a group making theatre debuts or returning in a new genre, with performers such as Lisa Rinna, Phaedra Parks, Carole Radziwill and others named in connection with the production.
Where the stories differ, they mainly do so in how much they spell out beyond the headline—such as the production timeline and the staging details. Overall, the reports largely converge on the same core announcement: a Neil Simon “Rumors” revival featuring prominent “Real Housewives” names.
