Players in Phantom Blade Zero are looking for the Mandate Encampment Gate key, which unlocks access to an additional area tied to the early stage of the game.
Both outlets focus on locating the key after beginning in or near the Village of Lu, describing it as part of expanding exploration by opening the relevant gate. One source frames the task around finding the specific “Gate” key needed to enter the Mandate Encampment area, while the other emphasizes finding the “Outer Gate Key” and using it to open the gate before exploring the extra region.
Overall, the reports align on the practical objective—get the appropriate key tied to the Mandate Encampment gates so players can enter and explore a new area—while differing mainly in the level of specificity in the gate/key naming and how directly they state the exploration outcome after unlocking.
