Welspun Corp reports stronger second-quarter fiscal 2027 results, alongside plans to expand its pipe manufacturing footprint in the US and Jordan. In its latest filing, the company says EBITDA rises 25% year-on-year to ₹782 crore, while revenue from operations for the quarter increases to ₹4,644 crore. Profit figures are also higher, with a reported sharp gain in half-year profit after minorities, associates and joint ventures.

Outlets also highlight new and expanding orders and projects. One report points to a record global order book around ₹50,000 crore and a new US pipeline-related order worth ₹5,500 crore. Coverage further notes planned capacity additions, including expansion of spiral (HSAW) pipe capacity in the US and an investment of up to US$125 million for a Jordan venture with Perma-Pipe.

While the reports largely align on the earnings improvement and the US–Jordan expansion, they differ in emphasis—some foreground detailed financial metrics and order-book milestones, while others focus more narrowly on profit and the Jordan investment approval.
