BAE Systems says a cyber intrusion into its systems for federal bankruptcy courts did not involve data extraction. In statements to Recorded Future News, a spokesperson said “no data was extracted” as the company investigates the incident.
SecurityWeek reports that BAE also says no personal information was breached. The outlet adds that the incident disrupted U.S. bankruptcy court notices for weeks, framing the impact alongside the company’s denial of data theft. Across both accounts, the key point is BAE’s position that, despite operational disruption, there is no evidence—according to the company at this stage—that data was taken.
