Seoul Food 2026, South Korea’s largest food exhibition, opens in Goyang and runs for four days at KINTEX as organizers aim to support K-food exports. The event, which began in 1983, is described as Korea’s biggest food show and one of four major food exhibitions in Asia.
Organizers say the exhibition is expected to generate export business discussions, with the industry ministry projecting consultations for deals worth a combined $650 million. This figure represents a 160% increase compared with last year’s corresponding tally, according to the outlet. The United States is selected as the main guest country for this year’s event, and a special pavilion highlights American food products, including meat and snacks.
Overall, the show is presented as a platform connecting global buyers with Korean food producers amid growing international interest in Korean culture and cuisine.
