Seoul is preparing a four-day “Local Trip Gourmet Pop-Up” that brings food, drinks and travel experiences from across South Korea to central Seoul. The event is organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization and runs from June 17 to June 20. It takes place on the rooftop of the Regional Tourism Antenna Shop, located across from Seoul City Hall. The venue overlooks the area near Deoksu Palace, according to the announcement. Organizers say the pop-up is meant to let visitors sample regional culture without leaving the capital, while also encouraging future trips to destinations beyond Seoul.

The program includes participating brands and producers offering items tied to regional culinary traditions. The lineup features snack companies highlighting regional ingredients, specialty food producers with dishes inspired by local foodways, and beverage makers presenting options such as craft beer and traditional alcoholic drinks associated with different areas of Korea. Organizers describe the event as more than a conventional marketplace, positioning it as a connection point between Seoul visitors and tourism attractions nationwide.
