A large warehouse fire in Brent, north-west London, breaks out shortly after 9pm on Thursday at a business park on Oxgate Lane. The London Fire Brigade reports that 25 fire engines and around 150 firefighters respond to the blaze. Fire spreads through the multi-use warehouse building, involving two floors and the roof, with most of the structure alight at the height of the incident. Plumes of thick black smoke are visible from miles away.

Around 70 residents from a neighbouring residential block are evacuated as a precaution while firefighters tackle the fire. Other nearby residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed because of significant smoke production. The reports also note large-scale emergency calls, with nearly 90 calls made to 999 to report the blaze.

Across the coverage, there are no reported injuries at the time of reporting, and firefighters work to bring the incident under control.
