Earlier reports focused on videos from celebrations for the success of Samantha’s recently released film, Maa Inti Bangaaram, where viewers said they noticed what appeared to be a baby bump as Samantha attended the event with Raj.
NDTV and other outlets initially described the pregnancy talk as unconfirmed, citing that neither Samantha nor Raj publicly addressed the rumours and that the claims were largely based on observers’ interpretations of the viral footage. Times of India reported that Samantha and Raj kept the news private until after the film’s release, with the pregnancy later confirmed through official communication.
Subsequently, multiple sources added confirmation from people close to the film. Times of India and Hindustan Times say the pregnancy is now confirmed, while director BV Nandini Reddy also publicly commented that Samantha’s pregnancy is “at a beautiful time” coinciding with the film’s success.
