Multiple reports and leaks indicate Samsung may expand its “Privacy Display” technology beyond the Galaxy S26 Ultra as part of the upcoming Galaxy S27 lineup. Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is widely expected to launch in early 2027 and, according to rumors, will include four models: Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra. The Privacy Display feature, introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, switches parts (or the entire) screen to a restricted viewing angle temporarily so nearby viewers cannot easily see content, while the owner can still read notifications and other information.

Several outlets report that the Galaxy S27 Pro is a likely candidate to receive the feature, citing tipster claims and testing of a hardware-level privacy screen. Other reports go further, saying the Privacy Display could be included across the entire Galaxy S27 range rather than staying exclusive to the Ultra model. Separately, leaks also suggest the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra may get a selfie camera upgrade to a 16-megapixel sensor, with details about the exact sensor type still speculative.
