A 19-year-old man, Kian Bateman, is sentenced to prison after driving into and killing Shelley Davies, a 38-year-old mother of three, following his use of laughing gas. According to reports, Bateman was under the influence of nitrous oxide at the time of the crash. He drove a car into Davies and her partner, David Bratcher, injuring Bratcher as well. Davies later dies in hospital about three weeks after the collision.
