The project is described as one of the largest AI computing hubs and is tied to a proposed campus in southern Ohio. Reports say the facility is expected to require around 10 gigawatts of electricity. The Wall Street Journal also reports that power for the site would be controlled by the U.S. government. Times of India adds that Japan has committed about $33 billion toward a natural gas power project supporting the site, and that the data center would use the electricity enabled by that plan.
