Times of India reports that Tirkey communicates the decision through an advocate, with a copy of the letter shared publicly. The communication states that powers normally exercised by the DG remain suspended pending further consideration. The president also issues a show-cause notice, according to the report.
The Hindu similarly reports that Srivastava is stripped of all powers, framing the move as an immediate change in authority within Hockey India.
