According to the Army, the scholars are abducted while travelling from the Sububu forest axis in Bakura, within Talata Mafara Local Government Area. One outlet also refers to “several” scholars and links the incident to Yari’s residence in its account of the initial allegations, but the Army’s official position is that the abduction occurs during travel rather than at the senator’s home.
