Kia unveils the PV7, its second model in the dedicated, all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) lineup, expanding its electric commercial-vehicle range with a focus on space and flexibility. The PV7 is presented in Cargo and Passenger variants and is designed for uses such as logistics, fleet operations and shuttle services, as well as for small and medium-sized businesses.
The model is built on Kia’s PBV-dedicated Electric-Global Modular Platform for Service, and includes design elements intended to maximize interior room, such as a flat-floor layout. Kia positions the PV7 as following its earlier PV5, which was recognized as the 2026 International Van of the Year. Kia also highlights an approach that combines application-focused hardware with business-oriented software and PBV services.
In terms of timing and reach, one outlet reports the PV7 is shown at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover and that Kia plans to launch it in Korea and Europe in the second half of 2027, with additional markets and derivatives afterward. Another source emphasizes the PV7’s increased capacity and operational flexibility for commercial customers and passenger transport.
