PPCRV begins an audit and issues successive partial, unofficial parallel counts for the first Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). PPCRV says it is receiving and processing election returns (ERs) from BARMM’s 5,212 precincts, with expected staggered arrivals by area. As the count progresses, PPCRV publishes vote totals and rankings that may change as more returns come in and are canvassed.
In early updates, PPCRV reports that it has received about 21% of ERs from the region, with additional returns expected from provinces such as Tawi-Tawi and Basilan on later days, and Maguindanao and Lanao by Monday. As coverage expands, PPCRV logs roughly 85% and then about 95% of precincts reporting, with total votes rising from about 1.6 million to more than 1.8 million.
