Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) holds its first parliamentary elections, and an unofficial parallel count by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) shows the Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) and the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) leading the party vote race.
Across time-stamped PPCRV updates reported by outlets, BFP’s tally rises from about 456,658 votes to over 630,000, while UBJP moves from about 405,250 to about 592,000. BARMM Grand Coalition (BGC) trails in the party standings, with totals rising from about 278,043 to around 374,000. GMA News also reports that BFP and UBJP lead in partial, unofficial results, and that four parties have cleared a 2.5% threshold as more returns are processed. The vote totals and rankings remain partial and may change.
PPCRV reporting also covers sectoral races for settler communities, women, youth, ulama (Islamic scholars), and traditional leaders. One Inquirer.net report says the initial sectoral leaders include UBJP candidates across the five categories, while another focuses on the PPCRV sectoral vote standings using its initial election transmission. In parallel count updates, PPCRV reports precinct coverage increasing from roughly 85% to about 95%, with several precincts still unreported as of late Monday.
