Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max go on sale across India on September 18, drawing large crowds to Apple stores and authorised retailers. In Mumbai, customers queue outside the Jio World Drive (BKC) outlet ahead of opening hours, with some reporting waits of roughly 10 to 12 hours. One buyer from Nashik says he has been in line since around 10 pm the previous night and receives an early slot for the first devices. Similar pre-dawn crowds are reported in Delhi and Bengaluru.

Outlets also highlight that not all sales activity happens through physical queues. BigBasket says it delivered more than 300 iPhone 18 Pro series units within the first 60 minutes of launch via a partnership with Croma, with customers ordering from home and receiving deliveries the same morning. Other sources note limited stock and that some colour options appear to sell out online quickly. Apple provides launch-day offers including cashback on eligible cards, no-cost EMI for up to six months, and Trade In exchange benefits depending on the device.

Pricing is reported consistently across stores, with the iPhone 18 Pro starting at Rs. 1,64,900 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max starting at Rs. 1,79,900, varying by storage tier.
