iQOO has officially revealed key details of its upcoming Neo 12 smartphone, including a 2K OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate. Teaser materials also show a flat front design with slim bezels and a centred punch-hole camera, giving a clearer view of the phone’s exterior before launch.
Multiple outlets report that iQOO is pairing the display with high-end internal hardware and thermal support. NDTV says the Neo 12 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, include an active cooling fan, and feature a 9,000mAh battery. GSMArena adds that the OLED panel is supplied by Visionox and references the use of Visionox display technologies and materials. While some earlier coverage framed the panel as “unique” or tied to new display breakthroughs, all sources broadly converge on the headline specifications: 2K resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, Visionox OLED sourcing, and an active cooling system.
iQOO is expected to launch the Neo 12 in China later this month, though an exact date has not been provided in the reports.
