Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski is expected to return to the matchday squad for the first time in over 500 days, ahead of Monday’s home match against Coventry. The Swedish midfielder has been sidelined since a serious knee injury in May 2025.

Multiple outlets report that Kulusevski last played for Spurs during their 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in May 2025 and missed a prolonged spell of football, described as at least 75 weeks and lasting roughly 526 days. His absence has spanned parts of Spurs’ later campaign, including their Europa League success in 2025, as well as the entirety of last season and the most recent World Cup.

The Independent and Yahoo Sports also note that Spurs are struggling in the Premier League and will have several players unavailable for the Coventry fixture, with seven players reportedly missing for the match. The reports broadly align on the timing of Kulusevski’s return and the length and cause of his injury layoff.
