The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has opened an online portal for Tinubu support groups to register or revalidate their membership for the 2027 election. The registration exercise begins on Saturday, October 17, and runs until Thursday, October 22, 2026, according to the campaign council.

APC officials say the process applies to all support groups and volunteer networks working for Tinubu’s re-election, including those that previously registered with the APC or other campaign organisations. The campaign council describes the exercise as a way to verify groups, confirm their locations, and assess their organisational strength to improve coordination nationwide. Speaking at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, Silas Agara, Director of the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate, says the goal is to build a unified, disciplined mobilisation structure ahead of the poll.

Across reports, the differing emphasis is mainly on scale and purpose: one outlet highlights mobilising “over 10,000” support groups, while others focus on the registration deadline and the council’s stated plan to align the groups’ work with the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda and policy achievements. The registration is also framed as supporting clearer communication of government policies and feedback from citizens.
