Jordan Nyesom-Wike, son of Nyesom Wike, is facing an EFCC petition following allegations that he took $2.1 million in connection with an Abuja land allocation deal. Claimants say Jordan promised to secure plots totalling 60 hectares in Katampe and Guzape, and that he received $2,000,000 as a fee to facilitate the transaction and an additional $100,000 as his personal facilitation charge.

According to the petition filed in December 2025, the claimants allege Jordan said he had his father’s knowledge and approval, including by placing a telephone call to the minister in their presence. They add that after receiving the money on 17 October 2025, Jordan allegedly failed to deliver the land and became unreachable.

Jordan denies the allegations, telling the court he was not in Nigeria at the time the claimants say they paid him, and he submits an international passport to support his account. The matter also continues as a civil dispute before the FCT High Court, with a further hearing fixed for December 1, while lawyers for the claimants say the EFCC has acknowledged receipt but has not acted yet.
