South Korean cosmetics and beauty product companies are set to seek export deals at an annual industry exhibition in Osong, Cheongju, in North Chungcheong Province. The Cosmetics & Beauty Expo Osong Korea 2026 opens this week and runs from Thursday through Saturday, with a B2B focus on connecting domestic firms with international buyers. Provincial officials say the event is designed to help companies reach overseas markets while also letting visitors experience K-beauty products.
All outlets describe the expo as the latest in a long-running Cheongju event, held annually since 2013 except for 2014. Korea Times and Yonhap both cite the theme centred on growth with global partners and note expected participation of more than 250 companies. Differences across coverage are largely in emphasis and detail: Korea Times frames the opening as firms “to seek export deals,” while Yonhap repeatedly leads with the provincial government’s announcement and the scheduled dates, and adds the same core logistical information.
The provincial government also states it partners with KOTRA to invite international participants, supporting the expo’s export-oriented purpose.
