Police investigations into an attack on actor Tiger Shroff’s car continue, with another Lawrence Bishnoi gang member arrested after alleged links to people claiming responsibility for the firing, according to reports.
Multiple outlets say a key obstacle for investigators is access to Lawrence Bishnoi himself, who is held in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat. A group claiming to represent the gang has taken responsibility for the shots, but a central government order reportedly keeps Bishnoi inside the jail, affecting attempts by Mumbai police and other state police teams to question him. As a result, police from outside Gujarat must seek court permission before interviewing him there.
One report adds that Bishnoi has drawn heightened attention from Mumbai police in 2024 after his gang members fired shots outside Salman Khan’s residence, where Salman has long been a target. While the outlets focus on different angles—arrests versus procedural constraints—they collectively describe the same investigation and the same difficulty obtaining access to Bishnoi.
