Hulu is reviving the reality competition series “The Circle” with a new host after the show previously ran for seven seasons on Netflix. Multiple outlets report that SiriusXM personality Tinx will replace comedian Michelle Buteau as host for the Hulu reboot.
The reboot is framed as a shift in how the competition plays out. ComingSoon and Variety say the format will change, with celebrity participants joining the game alongside everyday contestants. Deadline adds that audience voting will be introduced for the first time in the U.S., giving viewers a direct role in influencing the outcome.
Release details also vary by emphasis across outlets. Deadline specifies a November 17 premiere date and notes that Hulu will release three new episodes weekly from Tuesday through Thursday, while other coverage concentrates more on the hosting change and the series’ move to Hulu.
