Ben Folds Five announce a reunion tour, marking their first live run in years. Multiple outlets report that the band is returning to the road with new dates, framing it as a comeback after a lengthy gap.
The coverage aligns on the core development: Ben Folds Five are scheduling a tour described as their first since 2013. Some outlets keep the announcement broad, while others add specifics. Consequence specifies that the tour will be a brief, nine-date trek and places it in April 2027 across the U.S. South. Other outlets focus on the fact of the reunion rather than date-by-date details.
Across the reports, the main points of agreement are consistent: the band is reuniting for a tour and the announcement signals a renewed presence for fans. Differences mostly relate to how much logistical detail is included and how the tour’s timing is expressed (for example, “first since 2013” versus “first in 15 years”).
