A double-decker tourist bus crashes into a souvenir stand near Trafalgar Square, with images shared online showing items such as key rings, t-shirts and tote bags scattered at the scene. Multiple reports say the incident occurs as the bus travels around the London landmark on Thursday afternoon.
One account says the bus first hits a lamppost, knocking it over, before striking the souvenir stand, based on an eyewitness. Other coverage focuses more directly on the collision with the souvenir stall and the aftermath visible at the location. Overall, the reports agree on the location and the type of vehicle and that a hop-on-hop-off tourist bus is involved.
