Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 in a London derby, prompting praise from Roberto De Zerbi. Several outlets say the result marks a turnaround after a difficult spell in which Spurs had gone winless in their preceding league matches, raising concerns about another struggle at the bottom.
In their coverage, outlets frame De Zerbi’s comments around Spurs’ performance and mentality. Free Malaysia Today highlights a “complete” improvement with back-to-back wins following the winless run. Soccer News and Vanguard focus more directly on De Zerbi’s assessment of Tottenham as a “complete team” after the Chelsea victory.
The reported details of how Tottenham won differ in emphasis but broadly align on the same headline result and De Zerbi’s reaction. Soccer News adds specific match incidents, describing an own goal and a red card, while other outlets focus more on the significance of the win and the context of Spurs’ early-season form.
