Four accused in the Tiger Shroff firing case are set to be produced before Mumbai’s Esplanade Court for a fresh remand after their police custody ends, according to reporting from multiple outlets. The case stems from a shooting on October 18 in Mumbai’s Juhu area, in which two gunmen allegedly fired at Tiger Shroff’s car, injuring his driver and a bystander.

Several outlets describe how investigators say the attackers’ escape plans shifted. Times of India and NDTV report that key suspects attempted to flee to Nepal via a bus route from Surat but were thwarted after missing a bus to Delhi. NDTV and Free Press Journal add details of an alternative “Plan B,” including instructions to leave the Pune–Jaipur Express at a station on the outskirts of Jaipur and continue by road. Free Press Journal further reports that police recoveries include a Turkish-made Zigana pistol and a country-made firearm, allegedly discarded near railway tracks in Surat.

There is also a dispute over what Tiger Shroff said after the attack. Times of India reports that he asked “why was I attacked” and said he had no enmity. Free Press Journal reports the actor’s spokesperson denies that such a statement was made, calling it untrue, while noting the actor did provide a statement to police.
