Crystal Dynamics releases new official footage for “Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis” as the franchise marks its 30th anniversary. Polygon and My Nintendo News both highlight a new trailer and describe it as showcasing classic moments from the original 1996 Tomb Raider alongside remake-style visuals.
My Nintendo News adds that the game is set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms on 12 February. Nintendo Life frames the anniversary more broadly, noting that the 30th anniversary lines up with events this week, including a shadow-drop of the third game in Lara Croft’s “Survivor” trilogy on Switch 2, and it discusses a separate celebration trailer released by Aspyr.
Across outlets, the common thread is the 30th anniversary celebration, featuring “Legacy of Atlantis” promotional footage and additional anniversary content that spotlights the Tomb Raider games revived or released for modern platforms.
