Google adds hundreds of free textbooks to Gemini Notebook for students in India, expanding what users can access inside the study tool. The update focuses on making textbook content easier to use for learning and revision, with features designed to help students turn materials into interactive study resources.
Across outlets, the emphasis is on practical study support. India Today highlights the scale of the addition for Indian students, while NDTV and The Keyword describe how students can use the textbooks in Gemini Notebook. NDTV says students can ask questions that include inline citations and links to original sources, and can convert textbook content into personalised study guides, practice quizzes and other learning materials. The Keyword similarly notes that users can add textbooks from specific providers and generate custom study guides and quizzes.
