Central Railway announces major engineering blocks that disrupt Mumbai’s suburban services. On Sunday, the Main Line slow corridors between CSMT and Vidyavihar are shut from 10.55 am to 3.55 pm, with slow locals diverted to fast lines and some services cancelled or running behind. On the Trans-Harbour route, services between Thane and Vashi/Nerul/Panvel are affected from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm, while Harbour Line trains are otherwise expected to follow the usual Sunday timetable.

Additional disruptions are also scheduled around Central Railway stations late Saturday night into early Sunday morning for foot overbridge work. Times involving traffic and power blocks include Dombivli/Diva for girder-launch and removal activities, with impacts described for specific local trains and some long-distance services. At Ghatkopar, old FOB truss removal requires blocks on key through lines and local-line restrictions for a period. Separate reporting also notes Western Railway is running a late-night block between Borivali and Bhayandar on Saturday night, but not during the day on Sunday.
