Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta dies at 59. Times of India reports that his last social media post on X appears about 10 days before his death and shows him building a Lego set with his daughter, Dalia. The report also notes that Ashoke Pandit cites a head injury, though the cause of death is not officially confirmed. His last listed film is The Miranda Brothers (2024).
NDTV highlights the same final X post, focusing on its Lego detail and describing it as featuring the “biggest Lego” he knew. Both outlets place the emphasis on the content of the last post rather than on any confirmed medical or official findings. NDTV also adds that Gupta commonly used X to share films and current affairs, providing context for how he used the platform prior to his death.
