Strictly Come Dancing begins its Halloween Week with a live episode featuring multiple themed twists. Several outlets highlight that the broadcast is designed to deliver surprises beyond the usual competition elements, including changes to the results-show experience.
The reporting emphasizes the Halloween framing of the dances and supporting segments. The Independent notes specific planned music-and-theme pairings, including a Ghostbusters tango and a Practical Magic samba, as well as Will Best taking part in a segment involving puppets. The Mirror similarly foregrounds that “shocks” and “twists” are part of the episode’s Halloween theme, though it does not provide the same level of detail in its headline summary.
Overall, both sources agree the week’s launch centers on spooky, themed routines and unexpected staging choices, with particular attention on how the live results show will differ from a standard format.
