Rohit Sharma is expected to return to domestic cricket for the Vijay Hazare Trophy following India’s ODI series against Sri Lanka, according to reports from different outlets. The coverage focuses on whether the India captain will feature and on the timing of his domestic return.
Yahoo Sports frames the story as a question about Rohit’s participation, referencing the domestic tournament and implying details about his scheduled return after the ODI matches, including Mumbai-related scheduling information. India Today presents the same core development more directly, stating that Rohit is set to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy after the Sri Lanka ODI series.
While both accounts align on the sequence—Sri Lanka ODIs first, then the Vijay Hazare Trophy—the emphasis differs: one leads with the uncertainty and practical tournament timing, while the other leads with the expected confirmation of his participation.
