Palantir Technologies reports strong third-quarter results, beating expectations and raising its full-year revenue guidance for the third time this year. The company also says U.S. commercial revenue overtakes its U.S. government revenue for the first time.

In the quarter ended Sept. 30, Palantir reports adjusted earnings per share of 44 cents, up from 21 cents a year earlier. It cites U.S. commercial revenue rising 148% year over year to $984 million, while U.S. government revenue increases 96% to $953 million. Overall revenue is also described as rising 96%.

Different outlets highlight different implications of the same figures. CNBC and The Next Web lead with the commercial-versus-government crossover, while SiliconANGLE places more emphasis on the beat of third-quarter expectations and the repeated guidance raise. MarketWatch frames the shift as an “AI turning point,” focusing on the significance of the business mix rather than only the growth rates.
