Richard Osman addresses criticism surrounding the Celebrity Traitors final, issuing a strong response to people he describes as “idiots” and “pathetic.” Multiple outlets report he reacts after a backlash connected to the show’s winners and claims of bias, with some coverage focusing on his anger at how critics have behaved rather than on any specific allegations.
The reports frame Osman’s comments as a defence of the winners and an escalation of a public spat over the programme’s outcome. The Independent and Metro describe him delivering a foul-mouthed or impassioned rant, while the Daily Mail similarly highlights his attack on “idiots” who are said to be overly negative about the final.
Across outlets, the central through-line is that Osman is responding directly to backlash and disputed perceptions of fairness. While the exact phrasing differs by publication, the coverage consistently presents his response as forceful and dismissive of critics’ concerns about bias.
