Reliance Jio has introduced a prepaid data pack in India priced at Rs. 15 that provides “truly unlimited” high-speed 5G data for 24 hours. The offer is positioned as suitable for data-heavy use including streaming, online gaming, large downloads and remote work. Multiple outlets describe it as a one-day booster that lets subscribers use 5G connectivity throughout its validity period.
The coverage largely aligns on the core details: the price (Rs. 15), the duration (one day/24 hours), and the “truly unlimited 5G” framing, contrasted with typical add-ons that use fixed data allowances. Outlets also highlight practical use cases such as 4K/HD streaming, low-latency gaming, and mobile hotspot use or cloud backup.
One difference in the reporting is the amount of operational detail included. Free Press Journal adds that Jio says the pack is available across India (pan-India) and lists channels for activation (such as the MyJio app, Jio.com, retail and POS, third-party recharge platforms, and an enterprise portal). It also notes that the announcement does not specify a fair-usage policy, speed-reduction threshold, or related conditions, while the other summaries focus more on what the pack is for and its convenience.
