Construction on the Chateau Margot Mall and Lifestyle Centre on Guyana’s East Coast Demerara corridor reaches 55% completion, with a planned opening in 2027. All three outlets report the project is about one year into construction after breaking ground and is backed by ANSA McAL Group’s investment of nearly US$50 million.

The developments is described as a mixed retail and lifestyle complex located roughly 15 kilometres from Georgetown. One outlet adds specific planned infrastructure and facilities, including about 120,000 square feet of retail-focused space, integration of premium rental office spaces, and parking capacity for nearly 500 vehicles. Another outlet highlights that temporary construction jobs have already been created and expects additional permanent employment when the mall operates.

While coverage is consistent on the key milestone (55%) and target date (2027), outlets differ in what they prioritise. Two focus mainly on the progress and schedule, while the additional details outlet emphasises the project’s design and jobs outlook.
