Wipro appoints Angan Guha as President and CEO of its Americas 2 strategic market unit, with the role effective December 8. He will report directly to Wipro CEO and managing director Srini Pallia and join the company’s executive leadership team.
The appointment brings Guha back to Wipro after previously leaving to become CEO and managing director of Birlasoft, which he joined in 2022. Earlier, he spent nearly 29 years at Wipro and had previously led the Americas 2 business when he departed, positioning him to provide continuity. His mandate centers on strengthening Wipro’s presence across key sectors including banking, financial services and insurance, energy and utilities, and manufacturing.
