Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reviews preparations for the NEET (UG) 2026 exam, scheduled for June 21, through a video conference with district officials, including collectors and police. The Chief Minister directs authorities to ensure the examination is conducted with strict security and transparency and to avoid any negligence in arrangements. He instructs officials to complete logistics in advance at examination centres, including security arrangements, traffic management, electricity supply, and drinking water, so candidates do not face inconvenience.

The NEET exam will be held across 283 centres in 30 districts in the state. Yadav also emphasizes compliance with the Centre’s decision to provide candidates an additional 15 minutes, increasing the total test duration to 3 hours and 15 minutes. He orders that information about the additional time be disseminated to all centres and that guidelines are strictly followed.

As International Yoga Day events are also planned for the same date, Yadav calls for traffic flow plans around examination centres so events do not disrupt candidates’ travel. He further instructs authorities to assist candidates who face transportation problems, including by arranging government vehicles if needed. Officials are directed to install biometric verification systems, CCTV cameras, and jammers by June 19 and conduct trial runs the day before the exam.
