Three men die following a three-vehicle crash on the Braco main road in Trelawny, Jamaica, late Wednesday night, according to reports from the Jamaica Observer. The collision occurs at about 9:00 pm and involves a Toyota Hiace, a Toyota Fielder, and a Toyota Voxy.

Police say the driver of the Toyota Voxy is identified as Johnson, and they report that the driver of the Toyota Fielder attempts to overtake another vehicle, which reportedly leads to the crash. Initial reporting states that one person dies at the scene, while another later dies at hospital after being pronounced dead following extrication from the wreckage. A later update identifies the three men who died: Javel Johns and Jahmar Johnson, both from Flanker in St James, and 23-year-old Clinton Douglas of Majestic Gardens, Kingston 11.

In addition to the fatalities, seven other people are taken to hospital for treatment after the crash. One injured person is reported to be in critical condition. The Trelawny police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
